Burberry release a steamy video for the launch of their new men’s fragrance, Mr. Burberry.
This week, the luxury British brand, Burberry, celebrated the release of their new men’s fragrance, Mr. Burberry, which was inspired by the essence of London. Created by Chief Creative, Christopher Bailey, the new men’s fragrance is the ultimate sensual eau de toilette – watch out ladies!
Contemporary and sophisticated, the bottle is inspired by Burberry’s Heritage Trench Coat which was invented over 100 years ago. The fragrance opens with notes of crisp zesty grapefuit, cut with a seductive base of earthy veriver and smokey guaiac wood. But if you’re not too familiar with these ingredients, don’t worry, you can get a sneaky whiff of Mr. Burberry – get yourself down to Knighsbridge for a spray from one of the interactive scent-dispensing posters which will be going up from 25th April.
If you do decide that Mr. Burberry is the fragrance for you, or you’re looking for a great gift, you can use Burberry’s personalising service to engrave up to three initials on the bottle.
Branded as their steamiest video to date (and we would have to agree after watching), the campaign was shot by Oscar and Turner Prize-winning British director, Steve McQueen. Titled ‘I Won’t Complain’, it features British actor and musician, Josh Whitehouse, and British model and actress, Amber Anderson.
Steve McQueen describes his vision for the video saying: “For the Mr. Burberry film, I wanted to convey the idea of two people who are passionately in love. It’s that moment in a relationship where all you are thinking about is each other, and all you want is to be with each other.”
