Gather around beer connoisseurs, the time of year has come again to celebrate Britain’s national alcoholic drink. Raise your glasses because Beer Day is tomorrow 15 June, with events continuing on into a weekend called “Say Cheers to Beer.”
The website explains that Beer Day Britain is on the 15th because that’s the day the Magna Carta was sealed, which stated: “Let there be throughout our kingdom a single measure for wine and a single measure for ale and a single measure for corn, namely the London quarter.” Pubs and breweries across the U.K. have joined together to host various events in celebration, all of which can be found on Wotzon. And if you’re a really dedicated celebrator of the brew holiday, at 7pm tomorrow raise a glass and post a photo on social media using #CheerstoBeer.
