You may well have done your bit for Movember, or may not have done your bit, but whatever keeping things looking great in the facial skin department is a priority as the winter months come into view. Maintaining or going back to a smooth skin should be on near the top of your grooming agenda now. Avoiding radical shaving rash, especially after a month of no shaving is hard; the wind and rain will be doing their darndest to make things red raw. Let some really good beauty products come to your rescue with one or all of their shaving products designed to protect your skin from harsh razors and elements!
The Clinique for Men Aloe Shave Gel £15 soothes and smoothes even the most irritated of skins. It comforts before, after and during shaving so is a great all-rounder. Your skin will feel refreshed and it also provides a really easy glide avoiding blemishes and rashes from forming.
Shaving Oil from King of Shaves, £3.69, has been saving faces from the elements and the razor since 1993. Ideal for sensitive skin they deliver mighty fine razor glide and amazing blade performance. You also don’t need to wash off the moisturising oil – simply let it sink in.
Molton Brown for Men has a range of shaving products but we particularly like the Skin-Calm Shaving Cream, £22. Again perfect for the most sensitive of skins, the shaving cream has barley extract to calm and prep the skin for hassle-free grooming. It’s not fragrance free however (which you may prefer) and has notes of mandarin, jasmine, violet, musk, sandalwood and vanilla.
Clarins for Men Smooth Shave Foaming Gel, £15, cushions skin so your razor doesn’t drag while smoothing and purifying with Bison Grass and Chinese Galanga – a winning combination. Use after cleanser by lathering up between your palms with warm water. Make sure you rinse well after your shave.
