Ever wanted to book a hotel but just for a few hours and in the daytime? So we are talking a dangerous (or not so dangerous) liaison, or just the need for some shut-eye really. Now you can with a little help from a nifty company called Dayuse. Founded in 2010 by five international hoteliers, this smart online hotel booking platform let’s you book hotels for just a few hours (minimum 3, maximum 8) all around the world.
There are now over 1,500 hotels available across 12 countries who welcome bands between gigs, lovers with an afternoon to spare, business men who want some home comforts…. anyone in need of a hotel room for a few hours basically.
Booking is really simple and all you need to do is search for the nearest hotels across France, Europe and across the Atlantic. Rooms can be booked in time slots depending on the hotel availability and it’s also possible to book a late day use until 11pm. You simply reserve online or via telephone and you will get an email or SMS confirmation. You then pay at the hotel counter and you don’t need to pay with a credit card.
Dayuse keeps the costs low too and rooms are charged from 30-70% less than the normal room rate for a full night’s stay. So that’s a cost of between £33 and £115 for a double room in a 3-5 star hotel – a bargain!
