Taking over the East London Food scene, Wringer + Mangle, are putting on a series of superclub pop-ups curated by food journalist Victoria Stewart – you might have a seen a piece or two of hers in the Evening Standard
We’re told the series will be running for eight weeks and kick off this April. Each superclub will bring entirely different flavours, celebrating the unique culture and cuisine this part of town has to offer, while using British seasonal produce of course.
Among the chefs taking residence are Rosie Birkett, who will be launching her new book, East London Food, and will be signing copies throughout the evenings.
Also taking over Wringer + Mangle are Uyen Luu, a leading chef in Vietnamese cooking, sisters, Soli and Sanaz Zardosht, masters of their Persian influenced cuisine, and John Gregory-Smith, chef and food writer who specialises in Turkish Cuisine.
John’s passion comes from his travels around Turkey and has taken this theme to his cooking. From his love for food, John became a regular contributor for Grazia magazine, founded the food and travel website Eat Travel Live, and published three cookbooks, Mighty Spice, Mighty Spice Express, and last year’s success, Turkish Delights, celebrating regional recipes.
You can enjoy Johns delicious cooking 31st May and 7th June 2016 – book tickets now.
