John Lewis Oxford Street transform their rooftop into the ultimate summertime retreat.
Imagine a wonderland of blossoms and fresh herbs looking out to the city – what more could you want?
Well, John Lewis have transformed their rooftop space into a stunning getaway – time to escape from the hustle and bustle of the Big Smoke, while still enjoying a 360 view of London City.
Featuring a pop-up restaurants, a coffee shop, activities such as yoga, with a vibrant garden where you can relax and take time out – this may just be our new favourite place to visit over the months to come.
Experience a little piece of English countryside right in the heart of London, complete with boules lawn, trees and shrubbery, and a vegetable and herb garden. The beautiful location was designed by Tony Woods – former RHS national young garden designer of the year – and you can tell. It is exquisite.
John Lewis are not only offering a scenic atmosphere – but a dining experience to remember too. Food is at the centre of this pop-up, with top chef Robin Gill kicking off the residency in the garden on 27th May, serving up seasonal dishes, whilst from 27th June the ever-playful B.O.B.’s Lobster will serve up a twist on tradition with its signature Lobster rolls, alongside an exclusive new Lobster melt on grilled sourdough, Baha fish tacos and brunchtime Lobster Benedict. Ending the summer time roof madness and taking up the last residency spot from 1st August, Shotgun will be offering their classic cuts of meat by the pound – talk about Man vs Food!
