It’s August Bank Holiday weekend, which only means one thing – Notting Hill Carnival.
So with that in mind we’ve been doing some investigating of what’s on in town over the next few days.
Friday 26th August
Expect carnival costumes, balloons, burlesque, bass, fire breathers and more. Also afrojazz fans are in for a treat as Goldfish will be headlining on the evening.
Whether you’re based east or south, bass-loving party crew, Gin and Juice, have you covered with their warm ups. We’re talking carnival room with selectors playing dancehall, bashment, soca and regge – the perfect Carnival mix.
Saturday 27th August
The Prince of Wales, Brixton never disappoints. They invite us to enjoy 13 hours of prime garage allstars – Larry Sun, Ramsay and Joe Coulson, playing the rooftop and with Lion Vibes record shop takeover of The Hotel Room.
Sunday 28th August
Join into the afterparty at Brixton Jamm. The venue will be host to Notting Hill Carnival after party with garage, grime, bashment, dancehall, hit hop and reggae on the decks.
