He is one of Hollywood’s most notorious actors and it was last November when Charlie Sheen announced his terrible news, revealing to the world that he is HIV positive. But now, following months of speculation, he will be setting the record straight in a tell all interview with Piers Morgan.
In an interview with the London Evening Standard, Sheen said: “Basically [the interview] is a casual conversation. It talks about things I’ve been through recently and storytellings of the past.”
In 2011 Charlie Sheen was diagnosed with HIV, but this did not become apparent until last year when the news broke.
“It is frustrating,” says Charlie. “It feels like there is an idea or a concept that people have about me and not necessarily about knowing the actual man…It’s different when people hear it from you, or me, directly. As opposed to what they’ve heard from second, third or fourth-hand stories.”
This will be Sheen’s opportunity to clear up all those speculations about his colourful private life where he will talk about his life, his career and his diagnosis.
The interview will be taking place at the Drury Lane Theatre on Sunday 19th June 2016.
