The Man Who Fell To Earth was originally released in 1976 and featured artist, David Bowie, in his era defining and first major cinematic role, as an alien called Thomas Jerome Newtown who came to Earth to take water back to his drought-ridden planet.

The restoration of the film has been in the works since late 2015, but is now especially timely and poignant given the tragic news of David Bowie’s death earlier this year.
